Overview

Discover Sarajevo through one of the best ways we know – around the table.

Join a small group in a cozy local setting and learn how to make klepe, traditional Bosnian handmade dumplings, together with a local cook.

Prepare the dough from scratch, roll it out, add your filling and learn how to shape each klepa by hand. Choose the traditional meat filling or our vegetarian version with spinach and cheese.

Alongside our local cook, your host is an official Sarajevo tourist guide, ready to share stories, local traditions, and insights into everyday life in the city throughout the experience.

Once the klepe are ready, sit down around the table and enjoy the meal you’ve prepared together, accompanied by local wine or rakija. And because no Bosnian table should end too quickly, we’ll finish with traditional homemade dessert.

This is a relaxed, hands-on experience rather than a formal cooking lesson – a chance to cook, eat, talk and spend a couple of hours with locals.

No previous cooking experience is needed. Just come hungry.

Important information

The experience takes place on the 5th floor of a building without an elevator, so please keep this in mind when booking.
Please let us know in advance about any food allergies or dietary restrictions. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs whenever possible.
A vegetarian option with spinach and cheese is available upon request.
Alcoholic drinks are served only to guests of legal drinking age.
