About this experience
Overview
Discover Sarajevo through its stories, and send a piece of it into the world.
This experience combines storytelling, creativity, and a meaningful local tradition.
Hosted by local city guide, it focuses on the idea that places are best understood through the stories people tell, and the ones they choose to share.
In a relaxed workshop setting, you’ll hear short, engaging stories about Sarajevo: its history, its resilience, and its unique way of life where cultures don’t just coexist, but overlap.
As you listen, you’ll create your own personalized postcard, inspired by Sarajevo’s symbols and everyday details. Each design reflects a small part of the city’s story, making your postcard more than just an image.
After the creative session, you’ll enjoy a well-deserved break with traditional Bosnian coffee, homemade juice, tea or grappa and small treats on our balcony – a moment to slow down and experience what locals call ćejf.
After the workshop, we walk together to Sarajevo’s historic Main Post Office – a place with a powerful story of connection, destruction, and renewal.
There, you’ll send your postcard – a small but personal way to remember your time in Sarajevo.
This is more than a creative activity. It’s a moment of connection between you, the city, and someone waiting for your message.
